Strive harder than anyone. Be humble, not proud. Reflect every day. Be grateful to be alive. Do good, think of others. Do not dwell in sentimental worry.

None of the six is hard to understand. What is hard is doing them daily.

Treat them as daily practice, not slogans on a wall. At day's end, ask: which one did I live today?
